There is something very special about a person that totally invests themselves in the process of studying and painting the every detail of your child. I will forever feel bonded to Lynita for the great number of hours that she spent photographing, playing with and observing our boys. She became a friend of our family and truly learned about our boys from the inside out. To think of the time that she spent painting each part of their little bodies amazes me. Usually it is just a child's own mother that so carefully studies and knows the very small details of her child's face. Lynita uses her God given talent of relating to people to create her beautiful art. We were so thrilled with the first portrait that she did for us, we asked her to do another one for our other child. She bonded with my sons in such a way that they greatly anticipated her visits and still today talk about Miss Lynita as one of the special people in their lives. We could not be more thrilled with the artwork that she has done for us. We have hung it with joy in our home where it is a part of our daily lives.

For almost 17 years, we have enjoyed the lovely portrait of our 3 children painted by Lynita Motes. I can vividly remember her trip to our lake house where she took roll after roll of film. We chose one snapshot that most closely captured the look we wanted, but she used all of the pictures to come up with the final look we dearly love. It was sized to fit perfectly above our fireplace in our former home, and we made sure that the space above the fireplace in our new home was custom-sized for the portrait, as well. We have received numerous compliments on the portrait over the years and continue to gladly recommend Lynita every time.
